Rebate, cashback and introducer payment
In trading, rebate and cashback often describe a refund. The introducer payment, by contrast, is the payment an introducer receives from the broker. These amounts are not automatically identical.
A percentage of an introducer payment must therefore not be understood as the same percentage of the total trading costs. For a comparison you always need the basis the rate refers to.
Per lot or as a percentage?
With an amount per lot, the eligible trading volume is linked to the respective rate. With a percentage, you also need to know which amount the percentage is applied to.
Settling a closed trade and settling individual trade sides are also different bases. So only adopt a rate together with its unit and the associated conditions.
What counts for settlement at DualNet
DualNet calculates cashback based on actually reported and confirmed settlement data. The rates stated for your broker and account type apply. Merely entering an account number does not yet generate a rebate.
Your account must be assigned correctly. Whether an existing assignment can be changed and when it takes effect depends on the broker. The broker guide contains the notes stored at DualNet for this.
Keeping credit and payout apart
A confirmed credit and a payout are two steps. In the client portal you see the available credit and can request the payout to a confirmed destination.
If you add a new payout account, it must be confirmed again via the registered customer email. This confirmation concerns the payout destination, not the calculation of the trading rebates.
