How does forex cashback work?
A cashback service receives a payment for assigned trading accounts and passes an agreed share of it on to customers. In forex trading the terms rebate or refund are also used for this. What matters is the actually confirmed settlement, not just the number of trades you opened.
DualNet is the cashback and settlement service. Your trading account stays with the broker. Signing up with DualNet does not open a new trading account and does not replace the assignment at the broker.
What does your rebate depend on?
Broker, account type, market traded and the respective settlement basis determine the amount. A rate per lot is something different from a percentage of a payment. So first check which unit is stated for your account.
In the DualNet calculator you choose your broker, account type and market. A calculator value is for guidance. The final credit results from the reported and confirmed settlement data.
How to get started with DualNet
Check your broker in the broker guide. Register your account with the correct details and confirm the sign-up via the email. Then it is clarified whether and how your account can be assigned.
As soon as confirmed credit is available, you can request a payout in the client portal. The payout destination is confirmed separately by email. A successful sign-up alone does not yet confirm a payout account.
What you should clarify before signing up
Note down broker, account type and account number. With an existing account it also matters whether another introducer is already assigned. The processes differ by broker.
A rebate is no substitute for comparing your total trading costs. Spread, commission and any further costs should be considered together.
